These terms cover your use of geographyquizlab.com. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What you can do

• Play every map, flag and capitals quiz as often as you like, at home, at work, at school or anywhere else.
• Print and photocopy our blank, outline, numbered and labelled maps, worksheets and answer keys for personal, family and classroom use, including for a club, a tutoring session or a quiz night.
• Print maps and worksheets for a friend or colleague, and give them away.
• Display a quiz or a map on a classroom screen or projector.
• Link to any page. You don't need to ask.

What you can't do

• Sell our maps, worksheets, quizzes or images, or include them in a product you sell, such as a workbook, an app or a printable bundle, without written permission.
• Re-host the PDFs or PNGs on another website or upload them to a marketplace. Link to the page instead.
• Copy the site's quizzes, text, maps or code in bulk, or scrape the site automatically.
• Remove the Geography Quiz Lab name or web address from a printable before sharing it.

Other uses

For any other use, such as publishing a map in a newsletter, a printed book or a paid course, email hello@geographyquizlab.com and we'll usually say yes.

License for maps, worksheets and quizzes

The map designs, printable PDFs and PNGs, worksheets, answer keys, quiz text and preview images are © Geography Quiz Lab. They are licensed for the free uses listed above. That is the license referred to in the image information that search engines show.

Some of the underlying data belongs to others and keeps its own license. The country boundaries come from Natural Earth and the country names and capitals from the CIA World Factbook, both in the public domain, and are cross-checked with Wikidata, which is CC0. The flag images come from the flag-icons project and are used under the MIT license. Nothing in these terms restricts your rights in that data under its own license. Details are on our sources page.

Borders and names

Our maps show borders and names for the purpose of learning geography. They are not a statement on any territorial dispute and are not suitable for legal, navigation or official use. How we decide what counts as a country and which names to use is set out in our borders and names policy.

Accuracy

Every name and capital is checked against more than one source, every flag is compared with a reference file, and we take care with the answer keys. Mistakes can still happen, and borders and capitals sometimes change. If you find an error, please use the report a mistake link on the quiz or tell us through the contact page, and we will correct it.

No warranty

The site is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and running, but we don't guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, up to date or suitable for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Geography Quiz Lab is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

Privacy

How we handle information about visits to the site is explained in our privacy policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.
